My Top 10 Albums of 2010!

I tried squeezing it down to just 10 but I just couldn't compromise with any of these stunning albums.

11/ Kaleidoscope Heart - Sara Bareilles
I expected more from her after Love Song, Bottle It Up and Gravity but this is a rather solid album overall.

Fav tracks: King of Anything, Gonna Get Over You, Uncharted

- - - - - - - - - -

10/ Strip Me - Natasha Bedingfield
I thought all the songs were equally catchy with a few stand outs, not the singles though unfortunately but all in all, I'm glad the singles didn't put me off this album and that I gave it a listen. It turned out to have some surprisingly good songs.

Fav tracks: Try, No Mozart, Weightless (Less Is More Version)

9/ Loud - Rihanna
They definitely rushed through this album imho. The whole album didn't live up to the hypes Only Girl (In the World) and What's My Name received. Disappointing, but I just couldn't rule the stunningness of the singles out.

Fav tracks: Only Girl (In the World), Complicated, Faded, S&M, What's My Name

8/ My World 2.0 - Justin Bieber
Sorry for ranking this above Loud. I enjoyed this album a lot and it sat on the top of my play list for a period of time so... *runs for my live*

Fav tracks: Baby (obviously), Stuck In the Moment, Overboard, Eenie Meenie
+
If counted My World as in My Worlds: One Less Lonely Girl, One Time

7.5/ Greatest Hits... So Far!!! - P!nk
I'm not sure if this should be regarded as a new album or what because it only contained a few new songs, which all I adore to bits.

Fav tracks: Fuckin' Perfect (go and top those charts with this one, grrrl!), Raise Your Glass, Heart Breakdown, Whataya Want From Me

7/ The Other Side of Down - David Archuleta
Another solid album, I thought. Even though he annoyed me most of the parts when he does the "ah-ahh-ahhh-ahhhh", "uh-uhh-uhhh-uhhh", "yeah-eah-yeah-eah" thing he does. If anyone understands me.

Fav tracks: Something 'Bout Love, Elevator, The Other Side of Down, Stomping the Roses, Who I Am, Parachutes & Airplanes

6/ Rebuilt - Girlicious
After the release of Maniac, I knew I would love their new stuff and I did. 2 In the Morning is my jam! It was definitely a right move kicking Tiffanie out, I found hope for them then. Additionally, the vocals are brilliant too. Never thought they were serious singers...

Fav tracks: 2 In the Morning, Maniac, Unlearn Me, What My Mama Don't Know, Hate Love, Over You, Game Over

5/ Get 'Em Girls - Jessica Mauboy
I love JM. Such gorgeous person and voice. I was pleasantly surprised by the stuff in her sophomore album as I thought her debut was so so. I'm still hoping for her to become more international. ONE TIME FOR THE ASIANS!

Fav tracks: Scariest Part, No One like You, What Happened to Us, Like That, Can Anybody Tell Me, Fight for You

4/ Cannibal - Ke$ha
Need I say more?? Bitch didn't debut at #1 for nothing. Stunning autotunes make those haters hate!!

Fav tracks: Blow, We R Who We R, The Harold Song, Grow A Pear, Crazy Beautiful Life
+
If counted Animal as in Animal + Cannibal: Dancing with Tears in my Eyes, TiK ToK, Your Love Is My Drug, Take It Off, Blah Blah Blah

3/ Teenage Dream - Katy Perry
Best concept album ever? Y/Y/Hell to the Y. Another good one from Katy.

Fav tracks: Teenage Dream, Firework, The One That Got Away, California Gurls, Pearl, Not Like the Movies

2/ Speak Now - Taylor Swift
I enjoyed nearly every single song on this album. Collectively it was better than Fearless. Breaking the songs down to individuals though, I thought the singles from Fearless had better qualities and chances to do well on charts. Furthermore, I think she tried too hard to prove that she could sing (probably because of the VMA aftermaths or whatever, I don't know) and in some songs, she sounded a little bit too desperate for my taste, for example Haunted.

Fav tracks: Mine, Mean, Innocent, Long Live, Speak Now, Sparks Fly, Enchanted, Superman, If This Was a Movie, Back to December

1/ Science & Faith - The Script

This might come as a shock to most people but it was the album that grew on me and it still is one of my most played albums of 2010. It also made the most impact on me (For the First Time actually made me cry lol) out of all albums released in 2010. Not saying I had heard all of them but I just love S&F so effing much, it's surreal. I also like their sound here slightly better than on their self-titled album, even though The Script was another fantastic album of theirs, too.

Fav tracks: Dead Man Walking (next single, please), Nothing, For the First Time, This = Love, Exit Wounds, Long Gone and Moved On

Pure personal opinions so don't be rude if I ranked your favs too low or vice versa. Comments are much appreciated. Cheers.
